Thanksgiving Meditation and...Beyond!

Sita Ram Everyone!
We are delighted to have two more members of our Portland community who have received Shaktipat. One is Ty's buddy Lisa, and the other is our baby-to-be. We hope that you will be able to make it to our post-Thanksgiving meditation to share in our expression of gratitude as a larger group. Every time I see Ma and Dileepji, they express the importance of group meditation in this day and age. So let's celebrate the holidays with spiritual community.

September/October Meditations and Shaktipat Trip

Kevin, Ty and I just returned from Mahasamadhi in Antioch. We had a really wonderful time and I am excited to reinvigorate the public meditations. Ma and Dileepji stressed (again) how extremely important the public meditations are. Please come and experience our new space and join in our community here in Portland--our new house is very comfortable and centrally located. Some of our friends will be getting Shaktipat in September and October so our group is growing. Please join us and experience a little bit of the joy you feel at retreats right here in PDX.


Here are the next few meeting times, we meditate at the same time as the folks in NYC and a few other places, so the intention is strong. Ty is working on coordinating meditation times with other locations:

We will be taking Halloween off to go to Antioch for Shaktipat. If you, or someone you know is planning on taking Shaktipat at that time, then please be in contact with us. There may be enough people from the area going that it would work to rent a larger vehicle and carpool. As some of you may be aware, Ma and Dileepji will be taking a sabbatical after this Shaktipat, so the next opportunity for Shaktipat may be at least a year from now.

Sunday Morning Meditations

Our Sunday morning solstice meditation was great. It looks like every other Sunday at 930am will be our regular schedule. Yeah! We are all excited to be having group meditations again. Come share the energy. We are right near the Irving Park if you want to take a stroll afterwords or do tai chi in the park.

Meditation this Sunday--6/20!

We will be having public meditation this Sunday, June 20th, at 9:30am at our new home. The 21st is the summer solstice. Let's celebrate the peak of light by adding to it. We are doing it early in the morning (for us) to be meditating at about the same time as the New York City DYC disciples. Let's join together and magnify the light and energy and strengthen Ma's lineage. We hope you will enjoy meditating at our new home. Please bring your asan/pillow to sit on. We would like to start up a regular meditation schedule now that we are settled in our new home, please come and bring your feedback about the best times for you, discuss locations, et cetera.
Ty and Kevin just got back from VP3 in Antioch so they have lots of good stories and some news to share.
